Tragic reports have confirmed the death of four victims who died after a mass shooter opened fire on a high school in Georgia.
Among the victims included two students and two teachers while nine others were reported as seriously injured. One study was also seen being airlifted to a nearby hospital to receive immediate medical attention.
The mass shooter who opened fire at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia on Wednesday morning was also named Colt Gray.
Harrowing images of students rushing to get cover as gunshot sounds filled the air. The school is said to be home to 1900 students and is located 25 miles west of Athens.
Nine victims were rushed to a nearby hospital’s emergency room with serious injuries from gunshots as per reports from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
The shooting reportedly took place at 10:23 am after which the police arrived and appended the suspect with weapons. He surrendered himself and is now in police custody.
Now, heartbreaking stories about students sending loved ones messages about how they feared for their lives and thought they would die are being released.
Moreover, one student also revealed her feelings as she sat right next to one of the victims who was shot dead before her eyes.
