A man reportedly passed away after he fell by accident into a hot spring in Yellowstone recently.
According to reports from local media outlets, the man was identified as Colin Scott who hailed from Portland. He was only 23 years old when he died.
More details surrounding his tragic death spoke about how he and his sister went out together for a walk but who knew that they would never come back together.
The duo were searching for a place to the hot pot which happens to be a term that’s used for soaking into the park’s natural thermal features. It’s also known to have one of the biggest hot springs in all of the US.
The victim’s sister explained how she and her brother left to check the water’s temperature and if it was good enough for a swim. Little did they realize about the dangers that they were getting themselves into.
When he reached down to check, he fell right into the burning hot pool without any trace.
His body was recovered at a much later time by the respective authorities who were alerted by his sister. But it was just too late as his remains were seen surfacing on the pool.
