Worried parents are expressing their concerns linked to their kids after a second sudden death incident rocked Oxford University recently.
The news comes just a few days after headlines spoke about a tormented student killing himself.
Now, a 25-year-old PhD student in the field of Neuroscience, Cal Shearer, is said to be the latest student to take their life in another heartbreaking tragedy.
They were a trans student who was called gifted by all her teachers. They were known for radiating love and so much warmth around everyone. But who knew a time would come and they would no longer be able to fight their demons?
Caring Cal was autistic and a transgender who was found hanged at the St John’s Collect in the city.
They took their own life after struggling to find the right treatment which their family said was all too prevalent.
Cal’s parents shared how devastated they were to find out the news about their trans daughter who they loved so much.
The news comes just a week after another inquest shared the tragedy of Oxford student Alexander Rogers who took his own life in January after being subjected to cancel culture in his social circle.
