Horrifying reports about a Walmart employee being baked inside the store’s walk-in in Canada left the world stunned last week.
Now, police are revealing more details about the investigation that took place to determine what exactly went on and how the teen died.
So far, the cops confirmed that they did not suspect any form of foul play in the death. The employee’s remains were located inside the oven last month and since then, the oven was discarded after details were taken for forensic purposes.
Halifax Regional Police responded to reports about the sudden death of an employee at 6990 Mumford Road during the evening hours on October 19.
This is when they found Gursimran Kaur dead in the oven that belonged to the store’s bakery department.
The mother says she grew suspicious as her daughter was not on the floor where she was due to be working. The police added how they took on a series of interviews of those colleagues nearby and also reviewed footage to see if any form of foul play took place.
Sadly, no details were found to determine or hint at her mistreatment, leaving the mystery wide open in terms of what really went on. Since then, the store has been closed until further notice.
