Queen Camilla has reportedly decided to back out of another leading royal event as she continues to battle with a potentially deadly chest infection.
The report was confirmed by media outlet Radar Online who mentioned how she was all set to attend the Royal Variety Performance but in the end, Camilla cancelled her appearance and the reason cited was simple.
She continued to have some lingering post-viral symptoms and the doctors have ordered her to relax and rest until she gets better.
The cancelation marks the latest in a string of events that the Queen Consort has missed including her arrival for the Gladiator II premiere amongst other Remembrance events.
The 77-year-old Monarch who supported her husband King Charles III and daughter-in-law Kate Middleton amid cancer battles was naturally very disappointed to miss these events.
Seeing her husband sick is already a cause of concern for her and to find out that she herself is battling an infection has made her a little upset, one royal insider mentioned.
Camilla hopes to be back to her full strength and return to her public duties very soon, the source continued. For now, she will rest as much as she can.
