A Mississippi teacher is now in the dog house after serving her student’s dog food treats by mistake.

The shocking incident has left the world stunned in terms of what is really going on. Nearly a dozen students got the beef-flavored treats during the classroom party and it even sent one kid to the hospital.

The faux pas cost the educator her position after eight students took at least a single bite of the pet food she assumed incorrectly was beef jerky.

One other student was spotted nibbling on the dog treat and said to end up at the hospital with severe abdominal pain.

‘I am just having a hard time coming to the realization that someone would find this behavior okay. It’s hard not to see the giant dog printed on the pack. I mean it’s right there and in your face’- another continued.

Another stated that it’s boldly stated dog jerky and you’d have to be blind to unsee that.

Some were treated by the school nurse, there and then. At the same time, the authorities did manage to contact Poison Control and alert the affected kids’ parents about the huge blunder that went on.
