A Christmas fairground was sealed after a ride failed and crashed during the evening hours of Thursday.
The incident arose when two women were rushed to a nearby hospital and 11 more got injured in the horrifying ordeal.
The cops and paramedics rushed to the scene at Centenary Square near that library in Birmingham at about 7:30 pm after reports were shared regarding an issue with one of the rides.
Sources revealed how fire services shared that the ride crashed and dropped down to ground level while still in use. In the hours that followed, all the rides were shut and bright neon lights switched off as emergency services rushed to the scene.
Women were seen racing towards the hospital but luckily the injuries were not said to be serious. As per the West Midlands Ambulance Service, there were at least 11 other patients getting assessed and discharged at the scene.
The ride called Star Flyer is known for being a known attraction for both locals and tourists so to see it in this state was horrific.
The fact that it stands today at 180 feet high and has swing pairs and chairs really make it an attractive and popular ride but many are now horrified to thing about going near something as this due to the dangers it possesses.
