Firenados are a rare and dangerous phenomenon where fire ends up whipping up in a manner that resembles the likes of a tornado.
This gives rise to a giant twisting column that can reach a few hundred feet in height.
They are said to be very dangerous to anyone located in the vicinity due to the huge amount of heat they end up giving off. They also spread rapidly and are said to be very unpredictable in nature.
The news comes after firefighters got a reprieve about winds being unexpectedly light and that gave them time to progress putting out two other large LA are afires in the areas of Eaton and Palisades while also ridding new smaller fires in the region.
