President Putin mentioned today that Russia is in full favor of the US-led proposal for peace that includes a ceasefire in the war with Ukraine.

However, it was not an easy deal for him and his nation to accept, Russia’s head of state continued.

Therefore, he shared more on how he needed to discuss some more important matters with the US, sending a clear warning to Trump that the war is far from over.

He had plenty of queries regarding how this ceasefire deal would work. ‘I think I need to talk to my American colleagues about!’- Putin mentioned.

He hoped to sit down and have a very important phone call with the US, explaining to reporters more on the matter.

He similarly mentioned the need to develop mechanisms and protocols to stop fighting the right way, as a month-long ceasefire wouldn’t be enough.

We want something that gives rise to lasting peace. And that includes removing the root causes of this kind of crisis!’- Putin mentioned.

He also felt that this would give the Ukrainian troops some breathing space, but he condemned the latest attack on Moscow by Kyiv, which he felt was not in the country’s best interest.
