Now, a 24-year-old man has been sentenced to life imprisonment for the death of two-year-old Isabella Jonas-Wheildon whose remains were found in Ipswich.
Scott Jeff received a life sentence with a minimum jail time of 26 years. The girl’s mom also received a 10-year jail sentence for the crime.
Gleason-Mitchell was tried alongside Jeff, including two counts of child cruelty.
Isabella’s remains were found in the stroller at the location where her parents were staying. Sources shared how the child was possibly kicked or stamped upon, which led to this tragic outcome.
The court says that the toddler had sustained several injuries, including fractures to her wrists and pelvis region, that were consistent with being hit.
She also suffered from bone marrow embolism and skeletal trauma that were outlined as her cause of death.
