Ukraine has staged a series of drone strikes against Moscow overnight, just a few hours after we saw President Zelensky accuse Putin of seeking to oppose the ceasefire plan for one month, laid down by US President Trump.
A major oil refinery located just 55 miles from the Kremlin dictator’s cliff-top palace on the Black Sea was also struck in a massive strike, triggering ten explosions.
This was followed up by a massive inferno where claims were also made about how Kyiv’s forces managed to drop a drone virtually in front of Putin’s nose, about 400 meters from his route from Novo-Ogaryyovo.
Meanwhile, the Vnukovo airport was reportedly shut down after a meeting with Putin and his leading officials.
The barrage was second to the Ukrainian attack on Moscow in three days and it seemed to be a direct reply to Putin setting several conditions for the ceasefire.
The Russian dictator explained how Moscow does agree with the proposal put forward to end hostilities. However, that would only be the case if it endured peace and removed the underlying causes of the crisis.
Ukraine’s President condemned Putin’s reply as highly predictable and declared during his address at night that Putin is scared to tell Trump directly that he wishes to continue the war and keep killing Ukrainians.
