The young kids have a habit of bugging their parents to buy them all kind of things from toys to chocolates to all the things you can think of.
Of course, we have all been kids once and we have all demanded things our parents clearly denied to buy us. Well, they have their own reasons for not buying us things and the one major one was that the thing kids go crazy about does not really have any use for them.
This is the same thing what the mother of 7 years old boy who suffers from autism did, so the boy decided to buy the toy on his own by using his mother’s credit card.
Well, this young boy had a special interest in collectibles and he went crazy about this one particular rare toy called Golden Billy Banana from Coles Stikeez collection range.
Well because of an obvious reason, his mother denied buying the same for him even though he was asking for it for months. The reason was that the toy was rare and was priced at 7,600 pounds.
The boy then decided to buy it on his own and so he used his family computer for the same.
He got into searching, found the toy, and paid for it. He used his mother’s credit card details which were already saved on the computer and made a transaction of 7,600 pounds. His mother had no idea about the same until she got a message from her back stating that she had made a payment to buy the toy.
Donna, the mother quickly contacted her bank but they could do nothing. She then contacted eBay and after a lot of discussions and taking the situation into consideration, eBay agreed to cancel the deal and to refund the money to her.
In their statement, eBay said “We understand that sometimes there can be incidents and situation and we understand our customers. We have initiated a refund for the customer and the deal has been canceled.”
