To be called a mom by a cute little kid like Blaze is definitely called as being lucky. Well, Blaze was one of those unfortunate kids that were diagnosed with heart defect and that’s what made him an adopted child.
Had baby Blaze not been born with a heart defect, he never would have known the woman he now calls mom.
Well, with every bit of his adoption story being beautiful it makes it beautiful to weave those pieces together and bring it in front of the world. The blaze was diagnosed with a serious congenital heart defect on the day he was born.
He went through a massive surgery when he was just 3 years old at the OSF Children’s Hospital in Peoria, Illinois. Once he recovered his biological mother had almost lost all hopes on caring for a baby like Blaze who had such severe heart conditions.
Blaze was supposed to be kept at the hospital and apparently, his mother lived quite far off from that place and that made her situation even vulnerable.
Hence, she decided to handover baby Blaze in the hands of nurses who were already taking care of the baby during her absence.
The NICU and PICU nurse, Angela Farnan, who had a solid experience of 32 years as a nurse was bestowed with the responsibility for taking care of Blaze. In the spring of 2018 Blaze had to undergo another surgery and the nurse Farnan again came for the rescue.
Intensive Care at home wasn’t possible as Blaze’s mother could not afford hence, Blaze was again under the care of the lovely nurse Farnan who accepted to take care of Blaze at once.
The best thing here is along with Farnan even her husband immediately accepted to take care of the little one. Well, little Blaze found his guardian angels in the form Farnan and her husband.
The guardians took care of the kid really well and as the date of surgery soon approached they started to feel heaviness because anything could happen to Blaze and they weren’t ready to let go off that little one so easily.
Well this wasn’t the end, Blaze had to go a couple more surgeries at the age of 3 and 5 or even get heart transplant done.
During all these events, the birth mum and her husband proposed to Farnan and her husband if they wanted to keep Blaze for themselves and this was a highly emotional day for both of us says Farnan to Good Morning America.
She wept and sobbed as those words came out of her mouth and she also felt that was the right decision to be made for Blaze to be happy and finally the baby was adopted in April 2018 legally by Farnan and her husband.
The boy is one of the most precious gifts which makeFarnan relieved from a stressful day at work. Well, a miracle happens don’t you think so?
