Lisa Jarmon is a single mother from Fresno, Texas.
She lives with two of her children and two grandchildren.

The family is full of love, and love spending time with each other. Lisa said she struggles to pay her bills, but she gets by. “I never say that I’m poor. I never say that I’m struggling,” she said to Ellen.
“Because to me, I’m not. To me, I just live like I live,” added Lisa.
When Ellen saw her reaction and enthusiasm as an audience member back in 2011, she just knew she had to meet her big fan on the show. And, just as she did before, Lisa is extremely overjoyed to meet Ellen again.
She found out that Lisa, despite her hard work and support she gives her family, had never actually owned her own car.
For Ellen, that just wouldn’t do! So she gave this hard working mother something that would make her life not only easier, but also happier.
