A teen has gone viral after enthusiastically sharing her story of how she got her favorite bakery chain’s logo tattooed on her leg in hopes it will serve as a ticket for free pasties.
19-year-old Nicole Reed is a true fan of Greggs and probably the first person ever to get the bakery’s logo tattooed on her leg.
As the pastries’ super fan revealed, she thought of the idea for the tattoo while in Kavos where the Manchester-based teen was spending her vacation.
“@GreggsOfficial what’s a girl gotta do to get a free pasty,” Reed proudly tweeted after getting her tattoo done.
Soon enough, the bakery chain responded by writing: “Is this real? Obviously a fan then? Should’ve got a sausage roll tattooed.”
Speaking of her decision to get tattooed, Nicole admitted her friend offered to treat her while they were partying outside.
“I just love sausage rolls. I have absolutely no regrets – it’s funny,” she added.
“I got the tattoo because I love Greggs. I love sausage rolls and I just wanted to show my dedication to them.
“I’m a fully grown woman and I can do what I want.”
While Reed remains positive she did the right thing, Twitter users quickly slammed her decision and told her she would regret the piece of art one day.
“You could have bought 40 for the price of the tattoo. Genius,” one person wrote.
“You’re going to regret this one once you realize it won’t get you no free pasties,” another one joked.
Following the backlash, Reed posted an update and struck back at the haters.
“Idk why everyone’s hating on me for my Greggs tattoo. Why you all so bothered it’s not on your leg is it. Give over,” she wrote.
