We do not get special occasions and days to show our love and tribute to our parents.
But father’s day is that one day which specifically fixed for your fathers.
You can recreate your memories with your fathers and show your love towards them.
People celebrate it with a very different yet unique way here we have an example of Michael hailing from Washington who is a police officer and he found a fantastic way to celebrate father’s day with his Dad.
His found named Andrew Gould found a picture in which Michael was sitting in his father’s lap and they were riding on a patrol car.
After a number of years both father and son decided to refresh this memory. This was posted on Album WA Police and received a tremendous response.
The original picture was captured in 1988and after 20 years they recreated the picture. Now Michael has joined law enforcement.
In 1988 Michael was sitting in the lap of his father and was posing for the photo, they looked so happy and was cherishing the moment.
Here is a note which Michael wrote on fathers day card 20 years ago and it was hard to believe that he would become whatever he had said. “When I get bigger I’m going to be my dad’s partner and catch bad guys and burglars.”
Now Michael is a police officer and became his dad’s partner while sitting in the car. After 20 years when Michael recreated the picture, he sat in his father’s lap though it looked hilarious.
He wore his full king county sheriff’s uniform. Although it was hard for Michael to fit in his father’s lap the way he sat 20 years ago,” where there is a will there is a way”! They were able to recreate the same photo.
One thing is to be noted and that is the smile.
The father and son smiled beautifully in the picture taken in 1988 and they had the same big smile 20 years later.Although they work in different departments their love is beyond words.
We hope that Michael’s kids would revive this picture in their own way by making their dad proud.
Don’t forget to SHARE this beautiful son-father bond story with your family members.”
