September is around the corner.
That means it is time for another new Apple launch. Like every year, a new iPhone will enter the smartphone market. And like every time, speculation regarding the modifications in new smartphones is doing the rounds.
Apple changed the lightning port on its iPad Pro last year. This ignited the rumors of the new iPhone to feature a USB Type-C port.
But according to a report, iPhone 11 will come with the same port its predecessors have. This means that the rumor that Apple will change the lightning port is false.
But some reports confirm that the new iPhone will boast a ‘taptic engine’. How this modification will affect the phone is still unclear but it will eliminate 3D touch feature.
The new ‘taptic engine’ is codenamed as ‘lead haptics.’ The code name suggests that the phone’s haptic features (like subtle vibrations on touch) will be enriched.
The reports also suggest that Apple is ready to include an added camera to iPhone11. This will give triple rear cameras to the phone.
The device’s camera software and hardware are likely to undergo huge changes. Another speculated feature is a wide-angle camera which will shoot more detailed and bigger photos.
Based on these rumors, it is safer to say that there will be minor changes in the software but significant changes in camera performance and that the screen resolution will remain the same.
