Dementia is a major Neurocognitive disorder which makes the person forget his/her memory or interferes with the working of their daily life.

Though the disease is prevalent but the people suffering from it still need special care and love. Recently, a girl gifts a baby doll to her grandmother as a Christmas present, and she loved it.

The grandmother has dementia, which makes it difficult for her to remember anything in her life even her own family so because of it, she feels very lonely.

Also, if someone goes to visit her, she forgets all about it within some minutes. So no matter how hard any family member tries to be around her, she keeps forgetting everything, which makes her feel low and alone.

Slowly, because of her disease, she started losing interest in all her hobbies and thought of the moment she’ll die.

It was a heartbreaking moment for the whole family to see their granny suffer like this. No matter what she is going through right now before her memory loss, she used to love her children and grandchildren.

A girl decided to give her a doll knowing that she loves to have babies around her. When the grandmother got her toy, she got delighted and started kissing it as if it just changed everything in her life.

She has begun considering that doll as her baby and speaks so highly about it. Before this, she wasn’t able to talk correctly in full sentences, but now when she talks about her baby, she is able to form complete sentences and speak correctly.

Even if her dementia is not just going to go away, but at least she got something to cover up her sadness. The granddaughter was thrilled to make a little different in her nana’s life.
