The authorities are searching for the mischievous zoo visitor who decided to climb over the high fence of a giraffe compound before riding the animal at a zoo in Kazakhstan.
The incident occurred in Shymkent Zoo where a young guy was caught on camera climbing a tall fence before jumping onto giraffe’s neck and riding the animal while stroking its neck.
Soon enough, the seemingly calm animal decided enough was enough and threw the man off its back.
While most would have given up at this point, the self-proclaimed Tarzan decided to climb on top of the fence and jump on the giraffe once more.
Again, however, the man was thrown off the animal’s back. Fortunately for him, the longneck didn’t show any signs of aggression and spared the fool even though giraffes can get pretty violent.
As the police have confirmed following the incident, the manhunt on the naughty zoo visitor has begun and the guy will be arrested when found.
The Shymkent zoo is one of Kazakhstan’s all-time favorite tourist spots boasting of over 1,500 animals and habitats spreading over 130 acres of land.
At the same time, the zoo is known for its efforts towards the conservation of animals and houses 20 species of critically endangered species.
While everyone included in this incident made it off uninjured, people have quickly suggested that the encounter could result in man’s death in a matter of seconds.
Despite their looks, giraffes can be a tough opponent and can deliver deadly slams with their necks. In the wild, giraffes often use this technique to counter the largest of predators such as lions.
