Heart-Melting Video footage has emerged that shows a six-year-old boy feeding his 79-year-old great grandfather with Alzheimer’s and dementia.

The video shows six-year-old Colton Keith feeding coleslaw and baked potato to his great-granddad Franklin Frye at his family house in Saltville, Virginia.

Colton’s mum Nichole Eastridge filmed the heartwarming moment. She can be heard saying in the video how proud she is of her son.

Nichole said: “My granddad Franklin lives on his own but he’s unable to look after himself, so we go to his house every day. Colton always wants to come with me and he will usually help feed him once a day.”

“He also helps him drinking water, pushes him around in his wheelchair and put his shoes on. He just randomly wants to help and that makes me proud. The fact that he is willing to do this at six years of age touches my heart.”

The video was posted online and it left everyone in tears. People praised the little boy for taking care of his great grandfather.
