Nike has just revealed a crossover of Crocs and traditional shoes.
The shoes resemble a pair of leather Crocs but are Nike’s new Air Force 1 VTF. The shoes are on sale and according to Nike, they will make your kid stand out in the crowd.
The description on Nike’s website reads that the Nike Air Force 1 VTF possesses all the elements of a classic shoe in a slingback design.
The shoes come with an elastic strap to make it easy for taking it on and off. There are glittery and their metallic details help its wearer stand out in the crowd.
Nike is selling them for $90 for kids under the age of seven. The shoes are a mix of sandal and mule, and due to the Swoosh around the heel to form a strap, they resemble Crocs.
Crocs has branched out in 2019 by trying to capture the other alternative markets that they think they have missed in the past. They have come up with shoes with an unexpected gothic makeover making them more badass.
This was a result of the brand’s collaboration with Barney’s New York. Barney’s New York flagship store is currently selling the special edition of Crocs, Barney’s New York XO Crocs. They can also be bought online.
Crocs’ Senior Vice President who is also its Chief Product and Merchandising Offer, Michelle Poole said that Crocs and Barney’s are both icons in different ways, and that is why the collaboration is so unexpected and exciting.
She added that this perfect combination of comfort and style offers its wearers a unique form of self-expression.
The gothic Crocs have received mixed reviews. While some Instragrammers said that the design wants to make them own their first Crocs pair, others said that they should not have been made.
