You will be able to buy Xtra sized white chocolate Twix bar at 80p only as Tesco.
This version of the biscuit and caramel treat is set to give you over two times of the yummy Twix goodness.
The white chocolate Twix Xtra was first spotted in Tesco stores. Shoppers in a Facebook group were the first ones to spot the chocolate. However, chocolate can also be bought online.
One member of the group commented that she found the white chocolate Twix Xtra chocolate bar in a pound ship but did not disclose which retailer it was. She added that it was single bars only.
Currently, Tesco is retailing a multi-pack containing nine white chocolate Twix bars in the single bar format. Sainsbury’s is offering the multi-pack of nine original Twix bars for £1 and the Twix Xtra for 80p. You can buy the classic twin pack of Twix for 55p at Sainsbury’s.
The Xtra version weighs 37.5 gram per bar, meaning 75 for two, while, the regular-sized single bar weighs 23 grams. Just like the weight, Xtra version of the chocolate has more calories.
The total calorie intake for one stick of the white chocolate Twix Xtra sits at 188 kcal, whereas a single bar of the 23-gram bar will fetch you 115 kcal.
The first time Twix launched Twix Xtra was in 1994, and in 2004, the white chocolate edition came out.
It is not yet known when will Twix stop selling this new variant, but, as per the trends, you should make the most of it until it is available.
This comes a day after Cadbury announced an orange-flavored Twirl, and a week after Snickers launched its new ‘Crisp’ chocolate bar with caramel, puffed rice, and peanuts. Additionally, Cadbury’s new range of white chocolates will be soon selling at Asda.
