Commuting from home to the office takes time and we generally tend to get bored on our way.
Many people prefer to read on the time they have in their hands, other wishes to talk to people around them, some likes to play games, and others like to act like photographers on their Snapchat but this man had a completely bizarre idea of fun while he commutes to his office every day.
Adam Woollard, rather than making a friend, he made a rival instead and started racing with him daily as they both would reach the same spot by 8:30 in the morning and walked till a crossing from where they would split.
The walk they used to take together was just 10 minutes long but it became fun to Adam.
Do you want to know what the most bizarre part was about it? The other man had no idea he was in a race or had a man who thinks of him as a rival.
Adam shared a picture on his Facebook one day stating how his rival left him behind that day as Adam was tying his shoelaces.
In the picture, the man had his back to the camera and was walking away like he had no idea Adam was behind him.
Adam said “We used to walk together. We raced to the crossing for about a year but he had no idea about it. That little man was very fast and used to beat me most of the days.
We never talked but on the days he was not there, I used to get worried about why is he late, or if he is sick, or if he has left his job, or if I am running late.”
Although the man had no idea about it all, Adam said it was quite fun for him. He shared the picture in 2018 but it gained attention recently with receiving 33,000 likes.
