There is no doubt that our furry pets are like our babies.

So when a woman discovered that her loving pooch Lily had cancer, she was shattered.

Unfortunately, her Golden Retriever only had a low chance of survival. That’s why when doctors gave Daniela Stolfi-Tow the test results, she knew she had to share it with Lily.

The dog’s adorable reaction to her cancer test results was captured on camera. Her video quickly went viral and has already been watched by millions of people.

Daniela from Hawaii rushed Lily to the vet when she became so ill she couldn’t stand up. The vet told her and her husband how serious their dog’s condition was. They learned that Lily had a tumor on her spleen.

In addition, Lily had internal bleeding and anemia also affects her breathing. Without emergency blood transfusion, they could lose the pooch within hours.

There was more scary news after the blood transfusion.

“Once they stabilized her they told us it was Hermangiosarcoma, and its very common in Golden Retrievers. It comes on fast and she only had days to live if we didn’t do surgery,” Daniela explained on her YouTube channel.

But Lily having surgery also did not secure the fact she would get to live a long life.

“The bad news was that even if we did do the surgery she’d only have months. There was a small chance, only 10% chance that it was the benign kind.”

The couple went ahead with the surgery to save Lily’s life. A 6lb tumor was removed from her spleen during the procedure.

Even though it seemed that the dog’s condition was improving, the couple was told not to get their hopes up.

“…they said it would only be temporary. That in a few months she would bleed out. I kept saying, “but what if it is benign?” They were clear that it has never happened and we should be prepared and just enjoy our time with her.”

After one week, the test results finally arrived and Daniela shared the big news with Lily! Watch the video to see her reaction.
