Three of the pioneer actors who worked in the 1993 Jurassic Park movie are going to be a part of the upcoming Jurassic World 3, set to be released in 2021.
The latest sequel of the legendary movie will start shooting next year, with the original Jurassic Park actors Sam Neil, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum a part of it.
As reported by Deadline, Dern, Goldblum and Neil will take their original roles from the 1993 movie along with the Jurassic Park stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard.
The movie will be directed by Colin Trevorrow.
Breaking the news, the official Jurassic Park Twitter account posted: “They’re back. Welcome to Jurassic World Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler & Ian Malcom. #2021.”
Dern, 52, played the role of Ellie Sattler and Neill, 72, relived the character of Alan Grant in Jurassic Park III in 2001.
66-year-old Goldblum played Ian Malcolm in The Lost World: Jurassic Park, released in 1997.
He is the only actor among these three to have worked in the Jurassic World series, in the 2018 movie Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
Dern revealed that she’ll be a part of Jurassic World 3 when she surprised fans at a screening event of Trevorrow’s new short film, according to Deadline.
“That was so fun!!” Dern posted on Twitter.
In the original Jurassic Park made under the direction of Steven Spielberg, the story revolved around a group of biologists who were selected for a tour of a theme park on an island, a home of dinosaurs brought back to life from the DNA preserved in ancient remains.
The park, which was meant to be a safe family park, turned into a nightmare when the dinosaurs left all the people in the island struggling for their lives.
The Sci-Fi adventure movie Jurassic World had two sequels and a dedicated amusement park ride in Hollywood.
Fans are eagerly anticipating the comeback of the original stars in the 2021 sequel of the movie.
