Drugs are the most dangerous addiction the world is facing right now and we have no clue where did it come from.

It started thousands and thousands of years ago and now that the world is aware of its consequences, there are hundreds of people and organizations helping and supporting people to walk out of their addiction and recover from the diseases.

Taylor’s family had lost their son Michael to drugs but they are not ready to sit quiet and look other fall and give away their life in the same trap.

Michael’s friends and family came together and hosted an event along with Shatterproof in honor of Michael who believed in recovery and standing against the stigma of addiction.

He believed that addiction is a disease that people fall sick with and have the right to walk out of it with help and they should not be scared or ashamed to look for help.

In several medical cases, doctors have to prescribe strong doses of medicines to their patients.

This makes them addicted to the drug in the medicine and it becomes impeccably hard to walk out of it. No matter how strong a person’s will is, it is almost impossible to keep away from drugs once you are addicted to them.

Michael’s friend said that he was a very humble person and a terrific athlete.

He said Michael struggled with drugs a lot but he could not make out of it alive. He was a man with spark and all he did was made others happy.

In honor of the man, his family along with Shatterproof decided to host an event where they brought in several people and talked about recovery and that how it is important to take out the stigma of being an addict which restricts people from seeking help.
