The Truck has been nicknamed ‘the unstoppable force’ by Ted and it is twenty-six feet long, with bullet deflectors and eight huge wheels.
Ted belongs from the Lake Orion region of Michigan and he told the Barcroft TV that he feels really proud to be the owner of the Truck.
He mentioned that the production process for these Trucks started in 2000 and the company had manufactured around 11 such vehicles.
The vehicles were improved and modified along the line and the one that he has is one of the final products from the company.
Ted developed a love for military vehicles when he was working for National Security Agency. So, when his friends suggested bringing home a military vehicle, he was totally up for it, though his family is still not too keen on the idea.
The Truck has been featured in the movie ‘Red Dawn’ and another venture of Fox Entertainments, which cannot be named at this moment. Ted also lends the car for special events and loves to take it on the streets, since it is still legal.
The vehicle can accommodate ten people in the back and four at the front. It has a motor in the center to block infrared signals and letting the air conditioning work properly.
The best part is that it can float as well, if there are at least twelve feet of water, and that is the reason why it was sent to assist during Hurricane Katrina.
