There have been plenty of campaigners campaigning for climate change.

While some are genuinely giving their contribution, others are just looking for some limelight.

A pseudo vegan protestor identified as “Mr Broccoli”, after the man was unable to explain how a plant-based diet can contribute towards climate change.

Mr Broccoli, whose real name is Roland, supposedly, is a member of Animal Rebellion. It is a vegan version of Extinction Rebellion. Roland appeared on Good Morning Britain dressed up like a Broccoli.

The speculation spurred when Mr Broccoli, who claims to be a vegan protestor, refused to explain, why people should give up meat to save the planet.

Rather than making a statement, Mr Broccoli added sarcastically that he’s just humble broccoli that grows. The presenters of the show, Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid blasted over Roland and accused him that he’s wasting precious time by not taking climate change seriously.

Piers also added that if Mr Broccoli had made a coherent and powerful scientific argument, he would have made a significant impact on the viewers.

Being as lame as possible, Mr Broccoli was seen interrupting that chat by saying that he had to take a call and later pulling out a banana from the pocket and talking.

He was later arrested for his inconsiderate behaviour on the show in the name of climate change. He was among those thousands of people who were arrested during the London demonstration this month.

Mr Broccoli was slammed by Piers who was referred to as Peas by Roland. He further added why should they give a chance to a nonchalant person who has just wasted everyone’s time by sitting her dressed as a vegetable and claiming to work for climate change.

Roland was arrested under Public Order Act, but hours after the arrest he was released without any charge.
