A 2-year-old boy with cerebral palsy has gone viral after his inspiring Halloween photoshoot during which he dressed up as his favorite Disney character.
Little Brantley Morse has inspired dozens of other children to be who they are after donning the image of Carl from Disney’s Up.
The pictures from the photoshoot were shared on the page of Akron Children’s Hospital by the boy’s proud mother, Brittany.
“It is Brantley Morse’s first time dressing up for Halloween, and he definitely got in the spirit,” the Facebook post read.
As it happens, the 2-year-old’s walker and black glasses made it easier for the boy to rock the looks of the grumpy grandfather from the movie Up.
“Brantley’s mother Brittany wanted to incorporate his medical equipment in the costume to show the world that Brantley is making the absolute best out of his disabilities,” the post added.
According to Akron Children’s Hospital, Brantley was born prematurely at 24 weeks. In addition, he’s been suffering from kidney disease, lung disease, gastroparesis, and cerebral palsy. Despite his frail condition, however, he’s “beating the odds” every day according to the staff.
The hospital shared Brantley’s story shortly after his mother posted the pictures from their photoshoot.
“Brantley is just over here making the absolute best out of having a disability, and rocking his medical equipment with his awesome Halloween costume,” Brittany wrote.
“You would never know this sweet boy has a list of chronic medical conditions, with that contagious smile that’s always on his face! Hoping to spread some positivity to everyone, especially those struggling — if this little dude can smile, so can you!”
