There’s a common misconception that better education translates to better manners, which is totally untrue.
You can be educated from the greatest schools and colleges in the world and still not have good manners or you can be totally illiterate and have the manners to live in society as a good person.
The thing is to exhibit good manners in no matter what situation life puts us in.
The most important of all manners is to behave gently and with respect to anyone we come across in our life, even if we disagree with them.
To be a successful person in life and to win real respect from others, the most important thing we need to have is good manners.
Manners are the practical representation of the values we believe in, like loyalty, respect, compassion, gratitude, tolerance, and integrity.
Oddly, some people feel it against their ego to act in accordance with these basic morals, and that is so wrong. No one should be ashamed of having good manners.
The most basic thing to keep in mind while interacting with fellow humans is that you should behave with people the same way you want others to deal with you.
Small acts of kindness, like being courteous, listening to people when they speak, speaking to them with respect, can make someone’s day.
Unfortunately, our mechanical lifestyle has made us inconsiderate and has drawn us away from the basic moral values.
Instances like this one involving the kind truck driver need to be followed while dealing with fellow humans. It’ll surely make the world a better place to live in.
