There’s exciting news for all the Rage Against The Machine Fans.
Lend your ears to listen to the much-awaited revelation from the band.
The band has confirmed that they are going to reform a tour and get a headline slot in Coachella in 2020.
Isn’t it the most amazing thing to happen to look forward to the Coachella 2020?
First formed back in 1991, the band hasn’t played much after LA Rising Stage in Los Angeles, 2011. This will be great news for all the fans as they were eagerly waiting to witness a reunion since 2011.
The dates were published on the band’s social media platform, where Wayne Kamemoto confirmed that the band’s social media account is still active and accurate.
Though the band hasn’t been together after 2011, the Tom Morello (guitarist), Tim Commerford (bassist), Brad Wilk (drummer) have given performances in supergroup Prophets of Rage.
The news of an impressive comeback has startled the fans as they were really disappointed by Morello’s comment not to wait around.
The disheartening comment had left fans with no hope, but with this revelation, their excitement and exhilaration have gone to another level.
Earlier this year, Morello gave an interview on HardDrive radio, where he said that there’s no specific news about the Rage Against The Machine. He further added that time demand people to stand up on their own, and that’s what he has been doing with Prophets of Rage.
He said that there’s no point in waiting for Rage For The Machine, and it’s better to start your own band than to wait for us to get back.
Back in those days, the band’s songs were topped No. 1 in the singles chart. Killing in the Name was one name among them.
Guess, fans would have to wait for Coachella 2020 to know whether the news was a true or a short-lived fantasy for them.
