Christmas is all about spreading love and happiness in the world.
It’s not only about keeping your loved ones happy and celebrating with them, but it’s also about helping people who are in need and making their Christmas memorable.
That’s what Nando’s restaurant has been planning to do. Nando’s restaurant in Glasgow has made a promise that they will keep their doors open to the homeless on Christmas day.
They have promised to feed them and give them Christmas gifts as well. For this, they have taken help from their staff and customers to donate anything they can range from clothing, blankets, toiletries, sleeping bags, etc. Anything that can possibly help the homeless people would be appreciated by the customers and staff.
In one of their Facebook posts, the restaurant wrote that they are planning to open their restaurant doors wide for the Glasgow’s homeless this Christmas. They have planned to celebrate this year’s Christmas for whom Christmas means nothing more than a starving night.
The post further said that they had installed a dropbox outside their restaurant where customers can put their donations in the form of cash or kind. And they have also invited local charities to join in their cause and help the poor people celebrate Christmas wholeheartedly.
After the post has gone viral on Facebook, it has bagged over 6500 likes and 14000 shares that clearly state that people are in full support of this cause.
People have appreciated the efforts of Nando’s restaurant in the comments. While some said it is a great initiative from Nando restaurant, others said just like Nando’s every industry must take time to think about the homeless people at least on Christmas.
We wish Nando’s all the very best, and may they get all the required donations to feed the homeless people this Christmas.
