A resident of Austin, Texas, USA, Joey Augusta was diagnosed with his hearing problem when he was just a little baby of 14 months. Since he was born, his right ear is only able to listen 50% of the average ability.

This came out as trouble to him because he was not able to differentiate in the video of different people before.

At the age of 31 when Joey received his hearing implant, he was left stunned and filled with emotions on realizing the difference in people’s voices.

Here is a video of Joe hear properly for the very first time as the audiologist reads out to him. The young man is so thrilled to hear for the first time that he cannot keep his excitement in.

He breaks down in tears as he hears for the first time and it is worth watching. The video may make you weep a little and fill you up with emotions.

Joey was not alone in the room as his family stood by him to be with him at a difficult moment. But it turned out to be great for all of them together.

Joey’s family saw everything while standing there and grasped the priceless memories in their minds forever.

Soon after he was implanted, he was quickly able to recognize the voices of their family members as he took almost no time in sending them to their minds.
