21-year-old Katie Lee Pitchford choked boyfriend and squeezed his genitals until they started bleeding during an argument.
She was arrested on June 4 after police responded to reports of an assault at their home in Indian Harbour Beach.
A man called cops at around 3 in the morning saying his girlfriend, who he has been dating for almost three years, assaulted him during a heated argument.
When police arrived, the victim was found with face bruised and bloodied.
Pitchford said they got into a fight as she wanted to go out with an old friend and her boyfriend discovered by seeing text messages on her mobile phone. He became jealous and she said the argument was only verbal and not physical.
The 21-year-old also said that they had been out drinking and went to the beach where she fell and suffered bruises and scrapes to her legs.
The boyfriend also said the same story of the beach but claimed Pitchford suddenly attacked him while he was sleeping and grabbed him “by his balls and squeezed them until they bled.”
He also said that his girlfriend beat him with a brush and hit him “with her fists and scratched the left side of his face” before choking him.
The boyfriend said he never hit her back and simply tried to block her attacks. When he managed to escape, he immediately called the police.
Pitchford was arrested for battery and also accused of violating her probation. In 2017, she had been arrested for resisting an officer with violence. She was also arrested for theft from a motor vehicle.
Once handcuffed, she “asked if she could talk to the victim because she wanted to say she was sorry.”
