The Gavin & Stacey show was a major hit of its time and after 10 long years; the cast came together for a Christmas Day special.

 

In the first official photo that has come out of the cast, the actors who played the loving couple Mathew Horne, and Joanna Page, can be seen cuddling each other just like they are in love. 

The picture has 10 people sitting on a long couch where Gavin and Stacey right next to Rob Wilfort who played Jason, Stacey’s brother and their best friend Nessa played by Ruth Jones and Smithy played by James Corden. 

Along with them on the couch were Alison Steadman who has played Gavin’s mum Pam in the show, and Melanie Walters who played Stacey’s mum Gwen. Rob Brydon who played Stacey’s uncle Bryn and Larry Lamb who played Gavin’s dad Mick was also in the picture. 

The hit show that aired on the BBC appeared on the screens between 2007 and 2010. The show ended as Stacey was expecting a child and Smithy stopping Nessa from getting married to her boyfriend Dave who he thinks was not right for her. 

The show that ran for three long years shows a beautiful relationship that the two share along with the perfect story of their regular life, family, and friends. 

The cast reunited for a reason. Yes, they did not just come back to meet each other, they have come back to give us a special Christmas gift. 

Yes, they are shooting a special Christmas episode after almost 10 years and the special episode is going to be aired on BBC on Christmas day so that you can have a special Christmas day watching their family along with your family celebrating the holiday.
