An 83-year-old ‘Tinder gran’, who had dozens of flings, has now stopped using the app to find true love.
Mother-of-two and grandmother-of-three Hattie ‘Retroage’ Wiener, from New York, dated dozens of younger men through the dating app ‘Tinder’.
Hattie, who got divorced in her 50s, started using the app to hook-up with men and dated dozens of younger men.
But now, Hattie has ditched the app and has joined Match.com to find true love.
Hattie told Barcroft TV: “What I would desire from my life is a partner – one that’s turned on by me, and I’m turned on by him. So I would want a man, I would guess that’s 60.”
Hattie has ditched the Tinder app because she feels it is impossible to find true love on Tinder. She said: “What would happen is, a man would be attracted to me and me to him, and we would meet, have a drink, then if we were interested in each other, more specifically if I was interested in them, then I bring them to the apartment and we’d make love.”
“[With] Tinder I see them and we do become attracted to each other, and I could see that we’ll have a good night together.
Then, I don’t hear from them again.
So pretty much, I have become a woman who gets hooked up even though that was not my intention. ”Now, Hattie hopes to find true love for the long-term and this is why she has now joined Match.com.
She says she wants only one man who is serious about love and this is why she has joined Match.com. She said: “With Tinder, I’ve had pieces on intimacy, but they don’t thread together into a person. You can’t connect 20 wonderful nights into a partner.”
“I’m going to go on Match. You want someone who wants you, I miss that enormously.”
