A woman has gone viral for sharing her brilliant trick for curling hair after she had lost her hair curler just moments before she was about to head out to a party.
22-year-old Emily Kendall from Lancashire, England, is a clever young mum who found out she could curl her hair using a hot radiator rod instead of her lost hair curler.
And in less than twenty minutes, the mother was ready for the party with curly hair bouncing off her back.
“I almost canceled my plans until I realized I could try the radiator pipe. I was so shocked when it worked. It’s a good hack for when you’ve lost your curlers. It’s a tip for people who didn’t get [the curler] in the sales,” the 22-year-old proudly revealed after her photos went viral.
“I was getting ready to go out and was looking around the house for my curlers. Nothing was going right until then and everything just seemed to fall into place after discovering [this hack].
“I was trying to think where the tongs were and sat on the radiator because I was freezing. My daughter tried to touch it and I said ‘no, it’s hot.’ Then I realized the pipe was there and thought ‘oh, that might work.’”
As the mother added, she was surprised that the technique actually paid off in just a matter of minutes.
“It only took 20 minutes and with my curlers it takes about 40. It’s quicker and I’m saving on electricity in the meantime. The curls stayed in all night and the next day. I went out the following night with it still curled,” Emily claimed.
So ladies, now you know. Time to stock up on room heaters!
