Santa is an emotion for kids.
They believe in Santa as we believe in God. For kids, Santa visits them every year to shower them with gifts and blessings.
As kids, we also waited for Christmas and Santa to get our wishes granted. It was only after we grew up we realized that Santa isn’t real.
But imagine, if someone would have told you that isn’t real when you were a kid? You would have been heartbroken. That’s exactly what happened with the first graders of Brooklyn’s
Public School, when their class teacher told them that Santa doesn’t exist.
A first-grade teacher told the students that Santa isn’t real, sending the kids home crying to their parents.
The unnamed teacher at P 321 Brooklyn’s Park Slope neighborhood also told the six years old that tooth fairy doesn’t exist. Parents complained to the school administers regarding the disheartening comments by the teacher.
Parents had to console their crying kids by saying that Santa is real and alive, and he will come to you this Christmas as well.
The moms of the kids were in a difficult position as they have to answer all the queries of their kids. Parents were outraged, and that made the principal step in say that the teacher was a substitute and that the teacher will no longer come to school.
The principal said that the school guarantees that the teacher will not be seen in the school, and they have fired the teacher after the incidents. It took a lot of effort from parents and the teachers to make the kids believe in Santa again.
Now everyone is waiting for Christmas to complain about the Grinch teacher who said false things about their faith in Santa. It was a cruel act by a teacher to broke the little hearts by broking their belief.
