If you’ve ever stayed at a hospital before, you know how uncomfortable and nerve wracking it can be.
It’s a very scary experience to be alone in a hospital, but if you have a loved one or a close friend nearby, it can make the experience a lot better. It makes a hospital feel just a bit closer to home.

It isn’t just humans that can comfort us, though as we’ve seen animals can help humans feel more comfortable during their hospital stay. But can animals comfort other sick animals when they’re at the vet?
Well, Clinic Fang, an animal clinic based in Perm, Russia seems to think so.
Meet Lucifer, a black cat whose sole job is to give comfort and unconditional love to the sick animals in their care.
Lucifer is amazing at his job as he knows what it’s like to be sick. Lucifer was rescued, but unfortunately when he was rescued his hind legs were already paralyzed.Rather than let that stop him, he has instead picked up another job, where he comforts other sick animals as they recover.
Lucifer often cuddles with animals to keep them warm, or just stays near them to give them comfort. Lucifer is dedicated like all of the staff at Clinic Fang.

Lucifer befriends almost every animal that comes into Clinic Fang.
Despite the best efforts of the staff at Clinic Fang, Lucifer still struggles to walk, but that doesn’t stop him from comforting other animals.

Every kind of animal comes to enjoy the presence of Lucifer. It’s quite adorable!
Lucifer has even managed to save some lives through a few blood transfusions! What a hero!
Even animals you would expect to be very scared of Lucifer end up finding his presence to be very comforting. A surprising twist for a black cat!
Lucifer even does modeling for Clinic Fang on the side. He’s featured in many images on their social media and even their website!
Lucifer lives life like a king, always helping those in need and making life better for the sick and ill.
It’s a very heartwarming story to see a cat comfort others who are ill. If only humans were as able to be as caring and loving to those in need as Lucifer is to his fellow animal.
