What would be your reaction if your boss surprises you with a big bonus? Well, you would definitely be shocked at first and happy later.

The same happened with 200 employees of a company who received $10 million worth of Christmas bonuses.

An American company went the extra mile to make its employees Christmas happiest. The company surprised its employees after management revealed they’d all get massive bonuses.

At the St. John’s Properties Christmas party, the employees were asked if they were ready for the ‘big surprise.’ They were told to see inside the red envelope that each person was given at the party and that is when the employees were shocked to see the big dollar amount.

Each packet had a different amount as it was dependent on how long they’d been at the company however the average reward was around $USD50,000.

Some people told how this bonus would be so helpful for them and it came out as a complete shock to all of them. Chairman and founder Edward St John explained the reward was for improving the company reach its targets.

“To celebrate the achievement of our goal, we wanted to reward our employees in a big way that would make a significant impact on their lives.

“I am thankful for every one of our employees, for their hard work and dedication. I couldn’t think of a better way to show it.”

“I may steer the boat, but they’re the ones that run the boat. They are the ones that make the boat go. Without the team, we are nothing.”

He added: “My philosophy has always been to surround myself with the best and brightest and that is what we have done.”

The employees who are working in the company are definitely lucky as getting a big amount as the bonus is not a small thing.
