Dogs are friendly and loyal creatures.
They befriend not only humans but also fox, elephants, cats, and even ducks.
But this story is about Koda, an adorable pooch that ran away from home to befriend a deer in the woods.
Her owner, Rachel Howatt, shared how worried she was when Koda ran away from their home in Manitoba, Ontario, Canada.
She searched the woods but her efforts went in vain as there were no signs of the pooch.
After a few days, Rachel asked their neighbor if their camera had caught any photos of her missing furry companion.
Fortunately, the trail camera had captured many pictures of the husky running around and it seemed that she had also made a new pal.
Photos from the trail camera showed Koda cuddling up next to a deer. Aside from that, pictures also showed them napping and eating together.
It was also evident that the male deer enjoyed the husky’s presence that the two spent days and evenings together in the woods.
Koda is just one of the dogs who befriend other animals.
One Labrador named Bella befriended a baby elephant named Bubbles.
The two live in a California wildlife park and enjoy playing together in the river.
Another dog named Tinni has Sniffer the fox next to him. People usually compare their friendship to Disney’s The Fox and the Hound.
And here’s Fred, a Labrador, who befriend Dennis the Duckling.
Fred’s owner rescued the tiny ducking after his mother died due to a fox attack. The two creatures quickly became best buddies, playing, swimming and sleeping together.
