Nestle Toll House has brought new edible cookie dough flavors just in time for National Break Your New Years Resolution Day on Jan.
17.
The two new flavors are Funfetti and Fudge Brownie Batter. Funfetti is the classic sugar cookie dough filled with candy sprinkles, while the rich brownie batter is a chocoholic’s dream.
These new flavors come after last year’s huge success of Nestle’s edible cookie doughs, which is enjoyable without the risk of salmonella.
The original flavors that launched were Chocolate Chip and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Monster. “We wanted to expand our edible cookie dough offerings to make it even easier to enjoy your favorite dessert right out of the container,” said Samantha Set, Associate Brand Manager at Nestle Toll House.
Nestle Toll House took to social media and asked the fans about the new flavors. In a post on Twitter, they asked fans to guess what the new flavors could be.
A most common response was “Double Chocolate and Birthday Cake,” while some fans went more creative with their guesses. One user predicted a unicorn rainbow while another guessed truffle fudge brownie.
Few fans answered right, one argued that Birthday Cake and Funfetti are essentially the same things—but despite all the feedback was positive with one user asking, “Where have you been all my life???”
Funfetti is the most popular flavor so far in 2020: Coffee-Mate recently launched a Funfetti coffee creamer, too.
The new Nestle Toll House edible cookie dough flavors are ready now and you can found it in the refrigerator section at major grocery stores. You can buy a 15-oz. tub for around $5.40.
