A resort filled with rescue elephants is offering adventurists to spend the night in transparent domes in the jungle surrounded by nature and animals that are roaming around freely.
To provide their visitors with an immersive experience like no other, the Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort in Thailand offers people to spend the night in the presence of wild animals.
“Would sleeping under the stars, overlooking a lush green jungle and elephants, be something you’d like to do? Our brand new Jungle Bubbles await to offer a unique experience at Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort,” the resort noted in one of their Facebook posts.
While elephant tourism in Thailand often comes with severe consequences to the welfare of the animals, the Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort boasts of 60 elephants that they rescued from a terrible fate on the streets.
Following their rescue, the elephants can now spend their lives in peace roaming the jungle free of chains.
As for the revolutionary Jungle Bubbles, the resort assured that the 236 square foot domes are safe as they’re built with high-durability polyester fabric.
Each of the bubbles is also air-conditioned and has a spacious bed as well as a bathroom and a mini living area. The price per night starts at $585.
According to the resort, the guests also have the option to avail the ‘Walking With Giants’ package in order to get to know more about how “these intelligent creatures think and behave.”
“Guests can observe the elephants’ social interaction in their native habitat. The fun of either a river bath or mud playtime demonstrates just how cheeky these graceful animals can be,” Etienne De Villiers of Anantara said in an interview with Apartment Therapy.
