A Jewish couple that was supposed to fly to Detroit were asked to deplane just within a few minutes after they had just boarded.
The couple said that they had just sat in their seats when the attendant on the door came in and asked them there is an emergency and they would have to get out.
Then the couple said as soon as they got out, the attended said that they had received multiple complaints from the passengers and crew that Yehuda Yosef Adler and Jennie, his wife were smelling awful and so they would have to leave the flight.
The couple said “we were literally thrown out of the flight because we are Jewish as the attendant said that he knows Jewish only take bath once a week.
We were traveling with our 10 months old daughter and all our luggage was already boarded which we were not allowed to retrieve. They even did not give us the stroller for our daughter.”
Although the incident happened last year in January, they have sued the airlines now.
As per the report and police investigation, almost 200 passengers form the flight was questioned if the couple was smelling bad and no one said yes.
The airlines, on the other hand, said they received several complaints and had nothing to do with any kind of discrimination.
The spokesperson of American Airlines said “We take care of our passengers’ comfort and so we had to ask them to deplane.
We booked them a paid room at a hotel, gave them meals and booked them on the next flight the next day.”
For the same, the Adler’s have filed a case against the airlines for the damages they have caused to the family.
