Something unusual happened in Gelding, Nottinghamshire on Tuesday, when the police pulled over a car.

The officers discovered that the owner of the vehicle did not carry the right level of insurance cover.

The vehicle belonged to a courier who was out making a delivery of a big mac meal. The officers did not waste any moment and seized the vehicle of the delivery guy.

However, the customer who was waiting for the delivery to arrive did not face any issues receiving it. This is because the officers took the responsibility and delivered the Big Mac along with the fries right at the customer’s doorstep.

The police force said that all thanks to the officers who safely delivered the McDonald’s meal to its rightful owner in time. On the other end, the food delivery courier is currently experiencing a hefty fine once his vehicle was seized.

Along with that, he will also face six more points on his license and be required to pay an additional fee so that he can reclaim or recover his vehicle.

If he does not make his payments to reclaim his vehicle, he might risk it to be crushed. However, further reports say that there was no information on the delivery company that employed the courier for delivering food.

This type of case was viewed as one of the unique yet rarest ones to ever occur. You don’t get to see police officers are delivering food products to their respective owners.

The news went viral on the internet and many individuals were amazed and shocked by the incident. However, there is no further information disclosed on the driver and the company that employed him in the first place.
