Two teenagers were arrested for allegedly robbing the grave of an 84-year-old woman and before violating her corpse.

The youngsters from the Philippines were caught when the family of the grandmother went to visit the grave after she was buried on September 29 in Davao.

Family members were shocked and angry to find that the tomb of Isabel Bastatas had been disturbed and her legs were poking out of her coffin.

Isabel’s relatives believe that the dead body had been violated after they discovered that the corpse had no undergarments.

Police officers from Digos City police investigated the necrophilia at the public cemetery.

“The arrest was made after witnesses came to us to help with the investigations,” said Lieutenant Colonel Ernesto Castillo.

“They were pointing to one of the suspects, ‘Erwin’ and another companion.”

Authorities are investigating what was stolen from the grave and how the deceased’s body was interfered with.

The two suspects were transferred to the custody of the Department of Social Welfare Development Office after discovering they were minors. They also both denied the accusations against them.

Just last month, a 21-year-old man named Rommel Marimla raped his neighbor’s pig in Pangasinan.

The suspect was now in police custody. According to the complaint of the pig’s owner, it was early in the morning when he heard his 8-month-old pig crying at the pen in behind his house.

The owner said he wanted the pig to be a sow or a mother pig for additional income but he was shocked when he saw Marimla on top of the animal when he turned the light on.
