It has become an everyday thing for us to learn new stuff about weird things that human beings are capable of doing.
Recently, a diver has set the world record for the longest time spent sitting in a barrel present in the pole top.
Yes, he is Vernon Kruger taking a seat 80 feet in the air in a barrel, and he has been there for about two months.
It is astonishing and what is more surprising is that he has broken this very record set in the year 1997.
According to his interview, he says that he has forgotten why he was up there, and he had some good reasons to be there initially, which he happens to have forgotten since he climbed.
He is also proud of the fact that he has broken the very record set by him 22 years ago, and it was a British record of 54 days. Now, he has taken into 67 days and trying to push it to 80 Days as of now.
Given the fact that he can use social media make him feel more connected as compared to his previous attempt. He now says that he talks to people below, and he doesn’t feel isolated.
Also, he says that he does his morning exercise and has a trainer below on the ground. He seems to be curling up in a fetal position, which is giving him aches and pains.
He acknowledges the fact that the human body is capable of adapting some fantastic things, and it becomes the routine after the hectic first week.
According to his report, he sleeps better now as compared to the initial phase. He also feels limited in the space, considering the size of the barrel.
As for the bodily functions, he relies on the bucket and his ground crew below, and the nearby restaurant has been supporting him with good food.
