Valentine’s Day is the day of love and the world knows it.
At a farm in County Antrim, on the auspicious day of Valentine’s a calf took birth and amazed everyone.
This little fellow was born with a heart on its forehead making it a wonder.
Named Be My Valentine to suit the incredible event her birth turned out to be, the female calf was born on the morning of 14th of February, Friday, the most romantic day in the entire year.
The calf took birth to the proud parents Gold Top and Bridesmaid and at a Bushmills’ farm called Parkshaw Farm.
Farmer James McAuley, the owner of the farm was left stunned when he first laid his eyes on the calf with a distinctive marking which was highlighted even more because she was born on the 14th of February.
He said “I have seen a cow before with the same mark but it is the date that left me stunned. It was my mother that first pointed out the mark.”
The coincidence is incredible and because of the same, on the paperwork, James named the cow Be My Valentine. Isn’t it adorable?
While the cow is still a baby she loves the company of James’ kids Jack, Harry and Emily.
You can see the group having an incredible time together in the picture.
James said that the calf is extremely calm and so it being around kids is no danger at all.
Be My Valentine is a wee jersey calf and they are generally different in nature from the other calves.
And just take a look at how adorable and cute she looks.
