This man gave his wife the perfect gift for Valentine’s Day and it was the gift of life.

She will never forget this special valentine’s day that changed her life for good.

Leigh Anstey is a loving husband. He donated his kidney to his beloved wife Leigh Taylor after they found out that he was the perfect match.

He said “when you are in love, such a decision is not a difficult one but a very simple one. She was in front of my eyes and I could not let her go away.”

The couple from Queensland was in the situation as Leigh Taylor had her kidney damaged about 30 years ago when she was poisoned on the farm.

Her condition spoiled again last year when she caught bird flu that directly affected her kidney. As a result, she had to take dialysis to survive.

The couple could have simply waited for a donor but this would have taken months or years on the waiting list and that would have only made their lives worse.

When they found out that Anstey is the perfect match for Taylor’s kidney, he did not waste any time in thinking and went for it.

Taylor says “I am glad he is my match, my most beloved and the perfect match in more than one way and I cannot find myself any luckier. I am so grateful this is happening.”

“If it had been anyone else, I would have been fine but I am so proud and I am busting of happiness to see it. He is incredible and so is our relationship. I am so glad I was able to find my Mr. Right in so many ways.”

Well, at least she would live longer and they will have a happy ending together now.
