A woman was left embarrassed to her core after accidentally sending her new boss an Animoji in which she’s desperately begging for a Chinese takeaway.
As 22-year-old Issie Carmody admitted in her Facebook post, she wanted to send the Animoji to her boyfriend in order to get him to bring her Chinese food home for dinner.
However, the talking pig ended up in the chat of her new manager whom she’d only known for two days at the time of the incident.
In the Animoji, Issie was simply begging for a Chinese takeaway by repeating the word ‘Chineeessseee’ multiple times.
“Guys I’m actually f***ing mortified… I recently got a new manager at my work, and I’ve known her for TWO days!” the young woman from Wiltshire, UK, wrote in her post.
“I wanted to send my boyfriend an animoji of me as a pig saying that I wanted a Chinese… well… I’ve sent it to my new manager and it’s the most idiotic video I have ever created.”
Fortunately, Issie’s manager found the mistake hilarious and even responded to the 22-year-old by saying she hopes she gets Chinese for dinner.
In an interview with LADbible, Issie elaborated on the mistake she’s done and said she attempted to fix it right away.
“I realized my mistake soon after I sent it, my heart fell out of my a**. Sheer panic. Sweating. Instantly trying to correct myself through texting her multiple times,” she said.
“She’s actually taken it really well, I have seen her since I made the mistake and we’ve had a good laugh about the whole thing. [I] honestly had no expectations of it to go big, just thought my friends would enjoy taking the p*** out of me.
“That was my first ever Animoji. But this mistake hasn’t scarred me for life, so I will be sending more in the future. My other half did make up for it the next day with god’s gift that is Chinese.”
